Store Policy
STORE OPERATING HOURS:
Monday thru Friday: 10am to 5pm PST.
- Please understand we have real life commitments as well. If an order is placed on a weekend or a holiday, we will prepare your order as soon as we can and try to get it in the mail the next business day.
- We want you to have your fabric as soon as possible.
ORDER TURN AROUND TIME AND SIZING
- Turn around time is 1-7 business days. However we promise to ship items as quickly as we possibly can, usually by the 3rd day.
- Occasionally we will have to split an order that has requested continuous yardage.
- This only happens when one roll runs out of fabric and we have to load another roll.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Once an order is received, fabric is allocated to that order and it is placed into a print queue.
- If you wish to cancel your order, there will be a 10% restocking fee if your fabric has started printing (Non-Custom designs).
- If your order contains CUSTOM items, we cannot cancel your order once it has begun to print as we cannot resell that fabric.
- If your order has shipped already, your order cannot be cancelled.
REFUND POLICY
- If contact is not made within FOURTY EIGHT (48) hours after receipt of any damaged fabric, an exchange or refund will not be offered. If the damaged fabric is in stock, it will be replaced.
- Fabric is inspected prior to shipment, and we try our best to catch every error. If you receive a damaged/flawed print more than 6” from the edge of the print or bigger than 1inch sq, please let us know and we will issue a refund or replacement.
- We do not have any control over the way certain fabric reacts under the temperature and pressures required to press the material.
- NOTE: THIS IS VERY RARE, WE INSPECT EVERYTHING BEFORE PACKAGING IT UP FOR SHIPMENT.
- If a refund is desired, return labels will be sent by Kawai Creations and the refund will be issued upon receipt of the damaged fabric.
- In order to issue return labels, Kawai Creations will need the following information:
- Size of package
- Weight of package
- Kawai Creations is not responsible if customer selects the wrong scale prior to check out.

DAMAGES AND ISSUES
- Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the problem. If contact is not made within FOURTY EIGHT (48) hours after receipt of any damaged fabric, an exchange or refund will not be offered. If the damaged fabric is in stock, it will be replaced.
- Digitally printed fabric may have flaws close to the selvage, which is just the nature of the printing process. We print on fabric 58" to 64" wide but we can only guarantee 54”; therefore any flaws (smudges, defects, small cuts) that are more than 6” from the edge of the print will not be considered a flaw.
- Refunds will be issued on a case by case basis. However it is extremely unlikely your fabric will have unusual flaws.
- We cannot control shrinkage of fabric while shipping, no discounts or credits will be given for this. We will provide a bit of extra fabric in our cuts to offset this.
- Return labels will be sent for damaged fabric and must be shipped out within 2 business days of receipt.
- Fabric must be unwashed and uncut upon return.
COLOR, TEXTURE AND SOFTWARE TOLERANCE
- Computer monitors vary by make and model, therefore we cannot guarantee that what you receive will be identical to what is displayed on our website or what you sent to us. Due to this technical issue with devices, this is not justification for a refund.
- Additionally we use multiple fabric suppliers so textures may vary between delivered products. We do our very best to stick with a primary supplier, in order to provide the best quality fabric to our customers but sometimes they also run out of a product and we are forced to use a back up. This again is not justification for a refund.
- Dye Sublimation printing does not allow for printing of the color white. This means the printing software reads white as a blank space, making it "invisible" to the program.
- When it comes to panels, the software does not see the white borders around the artwork, and will stack the colored artwork side by side eliminating the space around the image.
- In situations where panels are requested, we will print as a single panel per half yard/ full yard depending on the size of the panel.
- If multiple panels are requested, you will need to order the appropriate yardage.
- In addition to software restrictions, we are not allowed to edit other artists work.
OWNERSHIP
- WE DO NOT PRINT STOLEN FILES AND ARTWORK.
- WE WILL NEVER EDIT ANOTHER ARTISTS WORK.
- KAWAI CREATIONS WILL NEVER SHARE OR SELL YOUR CUSTOM FILES.
- Once the order is shipped and delivery is verified, we delete all files.
